Sparx Premium Honing Stone Coarse – remove the burr cleanly
For everyone who is very particular about sharpening: with the Premium Honing Stone you remove the burr that is left on the blade after sharpening. At 100 grit, it is the coarsest of the three Sparx Premium Honing Stones.

How to hone
According to the Sparx manual, you run the honing stone flat along the side of the blade with light pressure – four full strokes per side.
Good to know
- For coated steel, use the leather strop or the Sparx Coated Steel Kit instead of the stone.
