Sparx Goalie/Sled Blade Holder 3 mm – hold loose blades securely
This holder takes loose blades with a thickness of 3 mm so that you can sharpen them in the Sparx skate sharpener without the skate. It is designed for the Sparx sharpening system.

Tip from Sparx
Steel is at its straightest when it is not mounted in the skate's holder. If you want especially even edges, remove the blades and sharpen them in the Blade Holder.
3 mm or 4 mm?
According to Sparx, 3 mm steel is common on newer goalie skates without a cowling. For 4 mm thick blades, use the Goalie/Sled Blade Holder 4 mm (Wide). If in doubt, measure the blade before you buy.
